WILLIAMSON — The Inaugural Hatfield and McCoy Volleyball Tournament was held on Saturday of this past weekend at the Williamson Fieldhouse as teams from both sides of the Tug River were battling it out on the historic hardwood.

The “volleyfeud” as it was dubbed was hosted by the Tug Valley volleyball team and coaches Greg and Pam Chapman. The tournament featured eight teams and had two games being played at all times.

The Buffalo Lady Bison came away with the hardware as they topped the Sherman Tide in the championship game.

Tug Valley and Belfry had two teams competing while Phelps and Jenkins also participated in the inaugural event.
