CLEAR FORK - Westside graduated 135 seniors in the Class of 2019 at its annual commencement ceremony Saturday, June 1, at the high school gymnasium.

After the traditional Flower Ceremony, where students honored parents and other loved ones with flowers, Bradie Vance, the Student Council President, welcomed the packed gym to the ceremony and managed to get a selfie of himself on the dais along with his class in the background, using a selfie stick.

The class motto was "We may not have it all together, but together we have it all."

The class color was purple, the class flower was the daisy.

Valedictorian Shania Lester got the motto in her speech, "The House that Built Me." Salutatorian Myleigh Stewart's message was "The Climb" and Bradie Vance, the honorarian, offered his message on "When I Get Older."

There were several vocal selections, including Natasha Belcher's "Never Enough" and Emilee Blankenship's "Little Wonders." Summer Bartrum, Belcher, Alexis Cunningham, Destiny Deer and Caitlyn Zornes performed "This is Me."
