WILLIAMSON — Multiple agencies from several West Virginia counties took part in the 12th annual Mingo County Fire School, which took place Sept. 21-22 in Williamson.

Attendees could choose from various classes, including active shooter, ropes, repelling, ladders, search and rescue, auto extrication and proper ventilation techniques.

Classroom and hands-on training were held at various locations throughout the city. The event is sponsored by the Mingo County Fire Chief’s Association.
