NOLAN - The Mingo Extended Learning Center hosted its 34th Commencement Ceremony at Nolan Freewill Baptist Church with 14 graduates from the school of Practical Nursing on Friday, June 14.

The students completed all the required educational objectives and 1,350 hours as laid out by the West Virginia Department of Education as well as the WV Board of Examiners for Practical Nursing.

Clinical hours were completed at various locations including Trinity Healthcare of Williamson and Logan, Tug Valley Regional Medical Center and associated clinics, ARH Home Health and Skilled Nursing Facility, Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan-Mingo Area Mental Health Clinics and Mildred Mitchell Bateman Psychiatric Hospital in Huntington.
