Clinton Webb Hager, 62, of Jeffersonville, died Sunday morning, Aug. 26, 2012, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 12, 1949, in Prestonsburg to the late E.H. an Ruth Hager.

Clinton was a Floyd County native and moved to Montgomery County in 1984. Clinton was a cattle farmer and retired from Bluegrass Stockyards, a member of the Montgomery County Coon Hunters Club and the Cattleman Association. He was also a “professional” tonk player and was known for being a jokester; he loved the outdoors and most of all his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include a son, Steve Hager (Jennifer), of Jeffersonville; three daughters, Debra Johnson (Robert), Lisa Hager and Teresa Overbee, all of Mt. Sterling; his former wife and friend, Sue Hager, of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Ralph Hager (Sue), of Prestonsburg; four sisters, Phyllis Fragis (Angelo), of Lexington, Delores Click (Ron), of Harrodsburg, Judy Fields, of Winchester, and Freida Justice (Millard), of Prestonsburg; seven grandchildren, Emilee and Lillie Hager, of Jeffersonville, J.P., Logan and Devin Johnson, of Mt. Sterling, and Morgan and Alivia Overbee of Mt. Sterling.

The funeral will be at noon, Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Gateway Christian Church. Burial will follow follow at Machpelah Cemetery. Pastor Bill Kilgore and Bro. David Gay will be officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Gateway Christian Church.
