There are still a few regular season games left in basketball season, but the tournament dates have already been scheduled for both Class A and AA in West Virginia.

The sectional tournaments for the girls are slated for the week of February 18 through the 22. The Class AA sectional tourney will be played at the Williamson Fieldhouse.

The regional tourney dates are on Wednesday, February 27 for Class AA and Thursday, February 28 for Class Single A.

The boy’s sectional tournament begins on Monday, February 25 through Thursday, February 28 for all three classifications.

Mingo Central is in Class AA, while Tug Valley will play in Class A this season. The Panthers won the Double A state title last March.

The regional tournament dates for the boys will be Wednesday, March 6 for Class AA, while the Class Single A is on Thursday, February 7.

The state tournament for the girls will be from Wednesday, March 6 to Saturday, March 9. The boy’s state tournament is from March 13 to March 16. Both state tournament are being held once again at the Charleston Civic Center.

The pairings for the sectionals have not yet been released. They are now seeded. The Class AA boy’s for Mingo Central will be played at the Logan Memorial Fieldhouse, while in Class Single A, the team with the higher seed will host the games.
