NAUGATUCK – The Tug Valley Panthers had an easy time with Huntington St. Joe on Tuesday night defeating the visitors 83-43 at the TVHS gym.

Junior Thomas Baisden led the Panthers with 20 points, while Mikey Newsome scored 15 and Austin Brewer 14 for coach Garland “Rabbit” Thompson’s team.

Tug Valley subbed early and often as several players saw action against St. Joe’s Fighting Irish.

Josh White added eight for TVHS, while Hayden Sturgell scored seven and Austin Baisden six. Eleven different players scored for the Panthers.

St. Joe was led by Michael Mayes with 20 points, while Thomas Rabel added 10.

Tug Valley is now 12-3 on the season and will host Belfry on Thursday, February 7.
