HARDY, Ky. — No injuries were reported in a single vehicle accident at the Hardy Park Wednesday evening.

According to Kentucky State Trooper Hoyt Smith, Stephanie Wolford, 30, of Narrow’s Branch, was traveling north on State Highway 319 when she lost control of her Jeep Cherokee. She struck an electric power line pole head-on near the baseball field at the park.

Wolford had an infant in the vehicle, which was secured in a child safety seat in the back seat of the vehicle.

Wolford was wearing her seatbelt and her car was equipped with airbags. Neither Wolford or the child were injured in the accident.

The vehicle was a complete loss. No citations were issued at the scene. The Belfry Fire Department responded to the call. The accident is under investigation by Trp. Smith.
