She was born on March 12, 1929 in Wilmington, Del., daughter of the late William and Martha (Conner) Seward.
Audrey was a homemaker and enjoyed canning, going to yard sales and shopping.
She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Evans, two brothers ,William and Samuel and two grandchildren, Phillip Evans and Todd White.
Audrey is survived by four children: Curtis James and his wife Debbie, A., Joyce Schurter and her husband Joe, Karen Evans and her husband Chuck and Nancy Maynard; a brother, Carl; a sister Marjorie Needles; eight grandchildren: Ronald Schurter, Catherine Schurter, Michael Schurter, Tosha Calloway, Crystal Hammond, Justin Maynard, James Maynard, and Jason Clark; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Trenia Evans; seven brothers and sisters-in-law: Virgil Evans, Irene Gooden, Alice Blankenship, Margaret Ooten, H.P. Evans, Beartha Welsh and Harvey Evans; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Del. where friends may gather two hours earlier. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown, Del.
