Jean Kirk Evans, age 69, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 24, 2010. 

She was preceded in death by daughter, Donna Evans; parents, Fred and Hessie Kirk; brothers, Denny, Sammy, and Blaine Kirk; sisters, Ethel and Marie. 

She is survived by children; Sharon (Jimmy) Herd, Columbus, Ohio, Marvin (Lori) Evans, Columbus, and Billy Evans, Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Matt, Mark, Josh, Bradley, Brandon, Ashley, Robin, and Kellie; great-grandchildren, Curtis, Gabriel, Harley, Damian, and Jerry; long time companion, Curt Stepp; brothers, Jim (Marilyn) Kirk, Gahanna, Bill (Julie) Kirk, Gahanna, and Don Kirk, Pataskala; sisters, Lola Strong and Beakie Browning both of Reynoldsburg; many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Her family will received friends Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Bob Owens, officiating.  Interment will follow in the

 Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
