Larry Clayton Walls, of Spice Creek, was arrested after Cpl. Josh Endicott observed his red Dodge Neon with what appeared to be a fraudulent inspection sticker while traveling on Rt. 80.
Cpl. Endicott performed a routine traffic stop, to find that Walls had allegedly made an inspection sticker out of construction paper. After the officer made contact with Walls, the defendant allegedly advised the officer that he did not have insurance on the vehicle and that the registration belonged to another vehicle.
Upon inspection the vehicle was not on file in West Virginia. The officer also discovered that Walls’ license had also been revoked due to a previous DUI conviction.
Walls supposedly admitted to police that he had made the MVI sticker displayed on his vehicle.
Walls was charged with a fraudulent inspection sticker, driving revoked for DUI, no insurance and improper registration.
