Crash halts U.S. 119
PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Town Mountain Road and U.S. 119 in the northbound lanes before 2 p.m. shut down all four lanes of the highway for an hour while crews extricated persons from the wreckage. At least one person involved in the crash was flown to a hospital. The helicopter landed on U.S. 119 at the intersection. A Hazmat crew was called in. Names of the persons involved in the crash were not known at press-time.
