PIKEVILLE, Ky. - The Belfry Lady Pirates move on to the semifinals of the 15th Regional Tournament after defeating South Floyd”s Lady Raiders at the Pikeville Expo Center Monday. The Lady Pirates didn”t hold such a large lead over earlier in the game with only a 3 point lead going into halftime.

Coach Mounts” halftime talk must have worked

“We”ve not seen that sort of range in three-point shooting until now.”

Amy McCoy scored 15 points for the Lady Pirates, grabbed 8 rebounds, and sank 70 percent of her field goals. Caitlyn Woolum came off the bench to score 10 points and grab 6 rebounds. Alexis Howard sank 8, Kelsey Napier scored 4 points, Jackelyn Stack scored 2, and Meghan Staten had 2 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
