J.J. Bevins scored the game high for Belfry with 17 points and sank 8 of her 9 free throws. Amy McCoy scored 15 points for the Lady Pirates, grabbed 8 rebounds, and sank 70 percent of her field goals. Caitlyn Woolum came off the bench to score 10 points and grab 6 rebounds. Alexis Howard sank 8, Kelsey Napier scored 4 points, Jackelyn Stack scored 2, and Meghan Staten had 2 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
South Floyd”s Kayla Hall led her team in scoring with 15 points. Other scorers for the Lady Raiders were: Ashley Castle with 10 points, Chelsie Tuttle with 7 points, Gabrielle Hall and Amanda Conn with 6 points each, and Kiana Hall with 5 points.
Belfry (21-7) will play in the winner of the East Ridge-Lawrence County game Friday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Expo Center.
