She was born Aug. 21, 1924 to the late Jasper and Louise Cole Bailey of Thacker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Oda Copley, and her brothers Alfred, Albert and Elmer Bailey.
She was a homemaker and attended the Blackberry Interdenominational Church.
She is survived by her sister Zora Bailey of North Matewan, her special friend Elsie McCoy of Ransom, Ky., and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Delmer Akers officiating. Burial will follow at the Bailey Cemetery at #11 Hollow in Thacker.
Visitation services will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
