In an effort to increase the awareness of heart disease among women, Williamson Memorial Hospital will be holding a “‘Ladies Night Out”‘ tonight from 6 p.m to 9 p.m.

Heart disease has become the leading cause of death among women in the United States.

The event will include reduced prices on diagnostic tests such as bone density, mammograms and pap tests.

Also, hospital employees will conduct free screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol and lipids, cardiac risk factors and blood glucose.

To register for screenings or for more information, call (304) 235-2216.
