Chief Judge Michael Thornsbury set bonds and trial dates for the two, identified as Clinton Marcum, 27, Kermit, and Dayton Eugene Williamson Jr., 40, also of Kermit.
Marcum is now set for trial on March 15 in connection with a charge of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary of Tammy Tucker’s dwelling house on April 22, 2008. Williamson Attorney Jerry Lyall represents Marcum, whose bond was set at $40,000 with the usual conditions.
His alleged co-conspirator, Joseph Marcum, 37, also of Kermit, was arraigned last Friday in connection with the break-in of the Tucker home and is set for trial March 15. His bond was set at $75,000 and he is represented by Attorney Ronald J. Rumora.
Williamson’s trial date also is March 15 on one count of burglary in another case. His indictment accuses Williamson of feloniously breaking and entering James Fitch’s dwelling house on Sept. 4, 2009 with intent to commit a larceny therein.
Thornsbury set bond for Williamson at $30,000 with the usual conditions. The defendant is represented by Attorney Jonathan Jewell.
Twenty-four persons appeared Jan. 22 for arraignment and trial dates and bonds were set for each.
Three persons are named in capiases for their arrest after they failed to appear for arraignments.
One of 30 indictments returned by the January Grand Jury on Jan. 20 remains sealed until the defendant is in custody.
