Williamson scorers were Jessica Fields and Devan Maynard with the game high of 10 points, Taylor Elkins with 9, Jessica Sanger with 7
and Olivia Banks with 6. Shareekua Jones, Valerie White, Aislinn Dempsey, and Elizabeth Wells each had two points apiece for Williamson.
Matewan scorers Rachel Clark scored 6, Gloria Bandy 5, Tiffany Lester 5, Shirley Mahon 3, Whitney Horton 2, and Sydney Mounts scored 1.
Willamson (4-3) will be playing Tug Valley in the first round of the John Preece Tournament at Tug Valley Friday, Jan. 15 at 8 p.m.
