“Banks showed alot of composure by stepping to the line going 4 for 5 in the last minute of the game to secure the win” said Lady Wolfpack coach, Robin Porter. “Fields was in foul trouble in the second half. Needless to say, we miss her presence on the court, but the team held on and got a win against a team that just would not quit.”
Senior Devan Maynard led Williamson, scoring 10 points with Banks close behind with 8 points. Leading all scorers was TVCHS’s Yoder, scoring 19 for the Lions.
Williamson takes their 3-3 record to Matewan Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m.
