W.Va. authority awards $7.6M for school projects

CHARLESTON (AP) — The West Virginia School Building Authority has awarded more than $7.6 million for school improvement projects around the state.

The largest grants awarded Monday were $1 million each for improvement projects in Kanawha, Marion and Mingo counties.

Authority members also awarded more than $2.5 million for emergency school projects in Calhoun, Grant and Preston counties.
