Born March 19, 1935, in Varney, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Burgess and Mary Brewer.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Diamond Carter and Elders Paul McClanahan and Frank Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery, Sharon Heights in Hampden.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, with a special service at 7 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mounts Funeral Home of Gilbert.
