He was identified as Shannon Robinson who, on Sept. 30, 2009, allegedly remained in the dwelling of Melissa Robinson with intent to commit a crime there or theatened to use a dangerous instrument on a person not a participant.
Robinson also is charged with a Class D felony, theft by unlawful taking of a firearm belonging to Melissa Robinson. He is named in two misdemeanors including criminal mischief, third degree, when he damaged or destroyed household furnishings owned by Melissa Robinson, and committed terroristic threatening likely to result in death or serious physical injury to her or damage to her property.
The list of indictments was released by Commonwealth Attorney Rick L. Bartley of the 35th Judicial Circuit. Other indictments included:
Charles Robinson, 57, of Pikeville, Ky., who was indicted on the offense of receiving stolen property or disposing of an ATV valued at $500 or more, and which had been stolen Aug. 1, 2009 from Dewey Belcher Jr.
#– Stephanie Newcome, age not available, of Pikeville, Ky., is charged with a Class D felony, identified as theft by failure to make required disposition of ATVs valued at $300 or more. She allegedly obtained the ATVs on Nov. 17, 2007 upon an agreement to make a specified payment or disposition but dealt with the property as her own and failed to make the required disposition.
– Lawrence New, 44, Freeburn, Ky., is charged with burglary, second degree, and theft by unlawful taking, on Oct. 4, 2009. The indictment states he unlawfully entered or remained in the residence of Clyde Daugherty to commit a crime, and took medication, jewelry, cash, knives and belt buckles valued at $500 or more and belonging to Clyde Daugherty.
– Steven Seals, 45, of Johnson City, Tenn., is charged with theft by unlawful taking or exercising control of money in an amount or value of $500 or more, which belonged to U.S. Bank of Coal Run. The offense occurred Oct. 5, 2009, according to the indictment.
– Ricky Hill, 42, and Brandon Blackburn, both of the same address in Pikeville, Ky., stand jointly indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property, including jewelry valued at $500 or more and which had been stolen from Jesse Salyers on Aug. 11, 2009.
Witnesses before the grand jury that returned the indictments include officers of the Kentucky State Police and the Pikeville Police Department.
