Boil water advisory issued in Matewan

A boil water advisory has been issued for Hatfield Bottom, Lobata, Sprigg, and Surosa areas of Matewan. A break in a two-inch line caused the problem and water had to be shut off to repair the line.
The anticipated resolution time is within four to five days.
Veolia announced the boil water advisory for the Sulphur Creek area of Matewan has been lifted as of Oct. 21.
