A boil water advisory was issued Thursday, Oct. 15 for the Sulphur Creek area of Matewan. The state road department dug into and broke a 2-inch main during road repairs. The line is in the process of being repaired and water samples are being taken. Residents should boil drinking water until further notice. The anticipated resolution time is within five to six days.
