The Mingo County Sheriff Department arrested a man Tuesday after he threatened to kill a man.

Terry R. Hinkle was arrested for brandishing a weapon and battery charges on Oct. 6, 2009.

According to the criminal complaint, officers were dispatched to a fight involving weapons at Taylorville. After speaking to witnesses, officers say Terry Hinkle was identified as brandishing a knife against Brian Plants and Daniel Martin. During the incident, witnesses told police Hinkle threatened to kill the men.

Hinkle was arrested by Deputy J.D. Ferris and C. Endicott.

The Mingo County Sheriff Department is currently investigating the incident.
