She was born June 19, 1960 in New Mexico to Joe B. Varney and Ernestene (Weddington) Varney currently of Sidney, Ky.
Brooksy was a teacher at Burch High School in Delbarton.
She is survived by her husband Paul Fuller of Wise, Va., her children: Joseph Gregory Bevins of Sidney, Ky., Gretchen Lynn Woodruff of Staton, Ky., Gregory Keith Bevins II, Robert Thomas Bevins, Jason Keith Bevins, and Kaitland Brooks Tenese Fuller all of Pikeville; siblings: Joseph Christopher Varney of Defuniak, Fla., Phillip Dean Varney and Barbara Lee Pyles of Sidney; and her grandchildren: Alissa Brianne Scarberry, Ethan Isaac Scarberry, Alexandra Chrstine Woodruff, and Caci Michele Bevins.
Visitation will be held at the Meta Baptist Church Thursday, Oct. 8 and Friday, Oct. 9 after 6 p.m with services each night at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. at the Meta Baptist Church with Bill Staggs officiating. Burial will follow at the Bent Ridge Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Community Funeral Home of Pikeville, Ky.
