Ralph Dingess, 57 of Kermit, passed on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at A.R.H Hospital in South Williamson, Ky. He was a member of the Warfield Church of God, a coal miner, and a graduate of Kermit High School.

Born January 17, 1952, he was the son of Roscoe and the late Margaret Dingess.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Bonnie J. Dingess. Ralph is also survived by his children and their spouses: Vickie (B.J.) Moore of Crum, Kenneth (Fran) Dingess of Williamson, Nicole Din-gess of Cleveland, Ohio, and Kevin Dingess of Kermit, grandchildren: Ralph “Brett” Moore, Jessica “Paige” Moore, Latasha Goff, Mindy Robinson, Jamie Domos-ley, Heather Domosley, great-grandchildren: Donald Robinson, Jr., Madison Taylor Robinson, and Kelsie Chafin, and special friends: Johnny Dale Maynard, James York, and Harold Marcum.

Ralph was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Dingess of Kermit and two sisters: Gennia Sweeney of Columbus, Ohio, and Linda Dingess of Warfield, Ky.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27 at the Warfield Church of God at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 28 at the church at 12 p.m. with Kenny Gore officiating. Burial will follow in the family’s cemetery in Warfield, Ky.
