The Lady Bulldogs won 25-22, 25-18 and 25-17 in the match.
Williamson played close in the first match, but the Lady Bulldogs dominated the second and third.
In the junior varsity game, Burch won in two sets, 25-13 and 25-12.
Burch Coach Jan Cisco said his team played well enough to get the win.
"We played okay," Cisco said. "This is a new team. Only one played varsity last year, so I can't expect too much out of them right now -- except to work hard and play hard."
The Lady Bulldogs had suffered a 7-game losing skid before last night's win.
Williamson Coach Tondra Elkins said she saw some bright spots in her Lady Wolves.
"We're definitely getting a lot better about using all three of our hits and our service is getting better," Elkins said. "We just have to learn how to return serve, digging, better. We had a lot of lifts, but we're working on it. It's only our second game of the year and we have a relatively young group."
Williamson (1-1) returns to action Thursday at Matewan in a tri-match with the host Lady Tigers and Hurley, Va.
Burch returns to action tonight with a tri-match in Delbarton against Matewan and Gilbert.
