The Kentucky State Police were once again called to a local convienence store that has been the target of repeated robberies.

According to a press release by the KSP, a man entered the Meta Double Kwik brandishing a pocket knife and demanded money from the clerk.

The man — wearing light colored blue jeans, a green hoodie and work boots — fled the scene heading toward Kimper, the state police said.

The incident is still under investigation as is another robbery at the same store approximately two weeks ago. At that time a robber went into the store while the attendant was sweeping the parking lot. He took cash and merchandise before fleeing through a back door when the clerk came inside and found him behind the counter.

Also, records show the Meta store was robbed at gunpoint just a few months ago.
