The first game of the event is scheduled to begin at 12:00.
In the first game at 12:00, Lenore is scheduled to take on Kermit. At 1:30 Ocean will be up against Matewan,.Admission will be $4 for adults and $3 for students.
Gates are scheduled to open aat approximately 10:30.
Kermit K-8 Head Football Coach Tyler Hodge is the Director of the event and reports that, while this first Mingo Middle Grid-A-Rama did not feature all the Mingo teams, this one will build for the future development of the event.
“We had some of the County teams were scheduled but dropped out due to other scrimmages they had already committed to,” said Hodge. “(Others) just had too low numbers at this point ( to participate),”
