Hank was born Aug. 26, 1974 at South Williamson, Ky., to the late Betty Ruth Carey and the late Robert Tomblin.
In addition to his mother and father, Hank was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Tomblin.
Hank was roofer with Pruitt Roofing, and a member of
the Lenore Fire Department.
Those surviving Hank are his wife, Rhonda Tomblin of Jasper, Ala.; brother Ricky “Rebel” (Kathy) Carey of Williamson, W.Va.; sister Connie (George) Maynard of Laurel Creek, W.Va; nephews Joey (Kristy) Carey of Williamson, W.Va., Zachary Maynard of Laurel Creek, W.Va., and Jason Porter of Florida; nieces Misty (Chris) Staggs of Laurel Creek, W.Va., Gina Peck of Delbarton, W.Va., Selena Ferguson of Varney, W.Va., and Jessica Porter of Belo, W.Va., and special relatives Mary Newsome and Kenneth Estepp - both of Laurel Creek.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, August 21, 2009 at Laurel Creek Freewill Baptist Church with
Pastor James Ed Baisden and Deacon Milton Bryant II officiating. Burial will follow at the Carey Cemetery at Laurel Creek; Lenore, W.Va., with family and friends acting as pallbearers. Visitation will be after 4 p.m., Thursday at the church with special services at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help offset expenses that occurred with his sickness and death.
