WILLIAMSON - Williamson Head Football Coach C. Douglas Ward has announced opponents for the Wolfpack Grid-A-Rama Scrimmage event and announced a change to this weekend’s scrimmage event against Burch.

Tomorrow, Saturday August 15th, at 6:00 p.m., instead of the Wolfpack traveling to Burch to scrimmage as previously planned, the team will host at Left yHamilton Park in West Williamson a three team scrimmage featuring three mini scrimmages.

In the first scrimmage, Tug Valley will take on Burch. In the second event, Burch will scrimmage Williamson. In the final scrimmage Williamson will scrimmage against Tug Valley.

Admission will be adults $3.00, students $2.00 or free admission for “W.A.C. Cardholders”. No WVSSAC passes will be honored.

Fans are to enter through the rear gate at Lefty Hamilton.

Also Ward announced that Williamson High School and Williamson Middle School’s annual “Meet The Pack” event has been scheduled for next Thursday, August 20th at 7:00 at Lefty Hamilton Park in West Williamson. WHS Football, Cheerleading, Golf, Volleyball, WMS Middle School Athletes as well as Williamson Midget League Programs will be introduced.

Admission is $2.00 per person or free admission for “W.A.C. Cardholders”.

Then on Friday, August 21st, the annual Williamson Wolfpack Grid-A-Rama will be held at Lefty Hamilton beginning at 5:00. In the first game, Valley-Fayette will take on Williamson in scrimmage action. The second event will start see Burch vs Big Creek at 6:45pm. The nightcap will feature Logan vs Tolsia at 8:30 pm.

There will be a $5.00 single entry fee for adults, $3.00 single entry fee for students or free admission for “W.A.C. Cardholders”.

The Williamson Athletic Committee (W.A.C.) will sponsor all three events.
