Carl Adkins, 72, of Red Creek Road passed away at Pikeville Medical Center Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009. He was born to the late George and Elitha Adkins.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009 at 1 p.m., at Thacker Funeral Home in Pikeville. Burial will take place at the Chaney Family Cemetery at Fishtrap, Ky.

Thacker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
