Betty M. Leibee, 87, of Bedford, Pa., formerly of Hardy, Ky., died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at the St. Rita's Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

She was bron in Cookeville, Tenn., March 25, 1922, a daughter of the late William Matthew and Helen Victoria Palmer Webb.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker who enjoyed golf and bowling. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Bible Church and a member of the Stone Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Leibee; brothers, Earl, Toad, Duncan and Carl Webb; and sisters, Alice Clemons, Willie Belle West, Ina Wright and Margie Kirk.

She is survived by one son Donald A. (Stephanie) Leibee of Cadiz, Ky.; one daughter-in-law, Rita Gayle Leibee of Owensboro, Ky.; one daughter, Judith L. (Leon) Griffith of Lima; grandchildren, Lisa (Patrick) Howe, Donald Lee (Donna) Leibee, Bob Griffith, Todd (Laura) Griffith and Nichole (Tony) Miller; seven great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 7, at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bob Norman officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mountain View Memory Garden Mausoleum, Huddy.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and other family members.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of services Friday.
