Sprigg Freewill Baptist Church at Sprigg, W.Va., is hosting a revival with special singers nightly. Evangelist Herbert B. (Butch) Cline II from Cleveland, Tenn., will be attending.

The First Presbyterian Church, Williamson, will conduct a vacation Bible school called Crocodile Dock for children in preschool to sixth grade. The presentation boasting “Where fearless kids shine God’s light,” will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. each evening at 29 West Sixth Avenue, and end with a pool party at the Williamson Swimming Pool on July 3.

The Tug Valley Shrine Club will be having their annual swim part on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 6 p.m., for children that are treated at the Shrine hospital, and for all shrine members and their families. Food will be provided. Bring a desert if you wish.
The South Central Labor Council -WV AFL-CIO will be holding a Townhall Meeting at the Gary Community Center at 6 p.m. The discussion will include healthcare reform and the Employee Free Choice Act.
