The Kentucky State Police and Williamson Fire Department responded to an accident on Harvey Street bridge at 2:41 p.m. Tuesday. According to Wiliamson Fire Chief Jerry Mounts and Fire Fighter Stephen Casey, a Toyota Avalon being driven by Jamey Crumb of Pikeville Ky. and a GMC Sierra driven by James Jewell of Williamson collided. Hydraulic Rescue Tools were used to extricate the driver of the Avalon and one passenger. Three were transported by Appalachian First Response and one minor was transported by private vehicle to Williamson ARH. The cause of the accident is undetermined at this time by is being investigated by the Kentucky State Police.
