Mountain Water District has issued a boil water advisory for the Pike County areas of Canada — Meathouse, Pigeonroost and Stratton Fork — and the following areas of Sidney — Dix Fork and Road Creek.

The advisory also includes Burgett Branch of Hatfield to Beckett Branch, Barrenshee from the mouth of the hollow to approxlmately House #953, the higher elevations of Hurricane of Stopover and Blue Springs of Blackberry.

Water used for drinking or cooking purposes in these area should be boiled at a rolling boil for at least three minutes.

The advisory is in effect until further notice.
