According to the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department, the victim is Ezra Pack, age and address unknown. Pack told deputies he was trying to stop an invader when he was involved in an altercation. During the ensuing struggle, Pack was shot in his left arm. He was treated and released at an area hospital. The incident is being investigated by Sgt. James Muncy.
