Kerrigan Whitley Dot-son, 12, of Rogersville, Tenn., passed away June 4, 2009 in Griffen, Indiana from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Kerrigan was born September 24, 1996 at Morehead, Ky., to Clyde Herbert "Herbie" Dotson II and Stephanie Renee Morris Hoard.
Kerrigan was Honor student at Rogersville Middle School
where she had just completed the 6th grade, and where she was a member of the Beta Club. She attended the Henard Chapel Church in Rogersville.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother and step-father, Stephanie (Gary) Hoard of Rogers-ville, Tenn.; her father and step-mother, Clyde Herbert "Herbie" (Angela) Dotson II of Hardy, Ky.; brothers Preston Dotson of Hardy, Ky., and Luke Dotson of Hardy, Ky.; her step-brother Dustin Ray of Hardy, Ky.; her step-sisters, Amber Hoard of Rogersville, Tenn., and Summer Hoard of Rogersville, Tenn.; maternal grandparents, Glenda and Keanous Mor-ris of Canada, Ky.; her paternal grandparents, Clyde and Judy Dotson of McCarr, Ky., and Charles and Margaret Hult of Equality, Illinois; special great-grandmother Patty Justice of Canada, Ky.; uncles, Matthew (Amy) Morris of Canada, Ky., and Hobie Dotson of Athens, Georgia; aunts, Anna (Bryan) Ehret of Louisville, Ky., and Sharon Caudill of Canada, Ky.; and four special cousins, Kristin-Shay Morris, Makylie Morris, Trenton Morris, and Dylan Ehret.
Also surviving is a host of other cousins, family members, and friends.
Honoring services will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 1 p.m., at Sidney Missionary Baptist Church at Sidney, Ky., where Rev. Geoff Tackett, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the family cemetery at Pipeyard Hollow; Canada, Ky., where family and friends will act as pallbearers.
