Douglas Frank Thomas, 59, of Delbarton, WV., passed away May 27, 2009 at his home. He was born March 7, 1950 at Gilbert, WV., and was the son of the late Lee and Margie Hileman Thomas.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Ann Thomas; sisters Helen Thomas and Gladys Hall, and brother Lee Bob Thomas.

Doug was a disabled truck driver and a member of the Christian Fellowship Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Hunt Thomas;

son, Douglas Frank Jr. (Leeanna) Thomas of Millstone, WV.; daughter, Jessica Renee (Ronnie Sears) Collins of Millstone, WV.; brothers, David Thomas of N. Carolina, and Richard Thomas of Blackberry, KY.; sisters, Phyllis Thomas of N. Carolina, Deborah Mahon of Lenore, WV., Bessie Layne of Millstone, WV., and Margie McGuire of Lenore, WV.; grandchildren, Keegan Blake Collins, Emily Becca Marie Maynard, Zachary Ethan Thomas, and Cyara Grace Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at the Christian Fellowship Church of God Friday May 29, 2009 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Glen Merritt and Rev. Denny Evans officiating.

Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery at Verner, WV.

Visitation will be at the Church after 6 p.m. with Services starting at 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Jr., Franklin, Eli, Richard, Jason, and Tommy Thomas.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Thomas Hunt, Johnny and Ervin Thomas and Timmy McGuire.
