Lonnie Ray Bailey, 54 of Columbus, Ohio passed away Friday, May 15, 2009 in Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born July 16, 1955 in Loredo, WV the son of Alfred Bailey and step mother, Lydia Bailey of Columbus, Ohio and the late Dollie Osborne. Besides his mother be was preceded in death by his step father, Andrew Os-borne, one brother, Jackie Bailey and one sister, Bonnie Gibson.
He was a disabled construction worker, a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the McVeigh United Pentecostal Church.
Other survivors include his wife, Lauraetta (Chapman) Bailey; one son, Michael Bailey of Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter, Samantha Bailey of Orlando, Florida; two step sons, Jonathan Hall of Virgie, Kentucky and Woody (Judy Kaye) Chapman of Hardy, Ken-tucky, four brothers, Terry Randall (Kim) Osborne of Lorado, West Virginia, Andrew Jr. (Amy) Osborne, Lorado, West Virginia Jody (Tiny) Bailey of Columbus, Ohio and special brother, .Dennis (Ettaff) Osborne of Lorado, West Virginia, three sisters, Rhonda (Ralph) Bailey of Oceana, Wa., Shenna (George) Mia-vitz of Cleveland, Ohio and Tammy Osborne (Ronald Gibon) of Lorado, West Virginia; Special Brothers and Sisters.in-Iaw, Plennie and Vickey Coleman of Canada, Kentucky and Bernis and Patsy Newton of Sidney, Kentucky; Three Grandchildren; sixteen nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends.
Funeral Services will be held at the McVeigh United Pentecostal Church at 1 P.M., Thursday, May 21,2009 with Leslie D. Chapman officiating. Burial to follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery at Sidney, Kentucky. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held after 6 P.M. Tuesday and Wednesday at the McVeigh United Pente-costal Church with special services both nights at 7 P.M. R.E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, Kentucky is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
