7 Mingo schools closed next week

CINDERELLA - Seven schools in the Delbarton, Gilbert and Matewan areas will be closed the week of May 18-22 because of flood conditions in their respective areas, Mingo County School Superintendent Dwight D. Dials announced.

Those schools were identified as Burch Elementary, Burch High, Gilbert High, Gilbert Elementary, Matewan Elementary, Matewan High and Matewan Middle schools.

Dials said Kermit K-8 School at East Kermit will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, May 18 and 19, because of a boil water advisory.

Schools that will remain open next week are Dingess Elementary, Lenore K-8, Mingo County Career and Technical Center, Riverside Elementary in West Williamson, Tug Valley High, Williamson High and Williamson Middle.

ohkay, well for one tug valley shouldnt go back . because most of the kids that go to tug valley live at kermit . & there water isnt right . well some kids that go to tv might not have a house . running water . food . or anything . so tv should really be closed until other wise . think about it ?
