Pike areas still without water

The Mountain Water District reports crews are working practically a-round the clock to restore water service to customers in Pike County.

MWD Manager Gron-dall Potter says that as of Wednesday morning, 1,100 customers were still waiting for their water service to be re-stored, down from 16,000 Sunday. Those areas include: From the top of Blackberry Moun-tain down to McCarr, Barrenshee from the BP Station up, Stopover, Hurricane of Knox Creek, Camp Creek of Knox Creek, Thacker Hollow of Meathouse, Broadhead Hollow of Toler, Aflex, Stringtown, Burnwell, Barney Hol-low of Stone, Pipeyard Hollow, and Broadhead Hollow.
