Anna Lou Coleman 66, of Ransom, Ky. passed away Thursday April 30, 2009, at the Williamson Memorial Hospital. She was born July 6, 1942 in Pike County, Ky., the daughter of the late John Butler and Fonnie Scott Smith. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Coleman, one son, Greg Coleman, one brother, Robert Smith and one sister, Alberta Williams.

She was a custodian for the Pike County Board of Education and a member of the Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda (Steve) Cheatwood of Roanoke, Va., Sherri Coleman of Ransom, Ky. and Kim (Kevin Herron) Coleman of Greenwood, Ind. and one son, Keith (Miranda) Coleman of London, Ky., two sisters, Blanche Coleman of Ransom, Ky. and Karen Williamson of Sidney, Ky.;

one sister-in-law, Melda Smith of Sidney, Ky.; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren with two other great grandchildren on the way.  She is also survived by a host of family, friends and co-workers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Sunday, May 3, 2009 at the Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church with Emery Varney officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bluesprings Church Cemetery, Ransom, Ky.  Visitation will be held after 6 PM Friday and Saturday at the Church with special services both nights at 7 PM.  Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.  R.
