Family members and friends bid farewell to Brittany Dentro of Lenore on Thursday afternoon in an emotional yet inspirational funeral service at the Nolan Freewill Baptist Church. The popular Logan High School student died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on April 20, at Nolan. Brittany was the daughter of Tony and Ginger Dentro of Lenore and the granddaughter of Barbara Dentro also of Lenore. She has two younger sisters, Heather and Alisha. More than 500 grieving friends, family members, student and teachers paid their respects during the visitation at Weaver Mortuary on Wednesday evening. At the conclusion of the committal service at the Lenore Memorial Gardens, a final and fitting tribute was paid to Brittany as 200 balloons were released as a symbol of her vivacious and free spirit. Family members and friends watched as the balloons drifted upward towards a cloudless blue sky.
