In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.
Survivors include 6 sons: Larry Wellman Jr. of Columbus, OH, James Wellman of Fairborn, OH, Ricky Wellman of Falls Branch, WV, Danny Wellman of Borderland, WV, David Wellman of Wooster, OH, and Charles Wellman of Williamson, WV; 6 daughters: Sherry Casto of Buchannan, WV, Terrie Bentley of Pikeville, KY, Jerrie Wellman of Columbus, OH, Rita Jervis of Welch, WV, Linda Kay Church of Richmond, KY, and Beverly Whitt of Williamson, WV
Also surviving are several brothers, sisters, 22 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday; April 24, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Curry Cemetery at Elk Creek, WV with Pastor Mike Bostic officiating.
