Mingo awarded $12.6M for new high school

The West Virginia School Building Authority approved $12.6 million Monday for Mingo County’s new comprehensive high school.

Mingo’s money was among $124.2 million in school construction funds approved by the building authority for more than 17 projects across the state, according to an Associated Press report. The funds will be allocated in the 2009-2010 school year.
