Roger Lee Hinkle, 65, of Taylorville, WV, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, April 3, 2009 a his home while surrounded by his mother and many family nd friends.

Roger was born Feb. 21, 1944, at Delbarton, WV, the son of Emma Paige Justice Hinkle and the late William Bill Hinkle.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Francis Hinkle.

In addition to his mother he is survived by five sisters, Shirley Hinkle, Brenda Ray, Patsy (Roger) Ray, Teresa (Butch) McCoy all of Taylorville, and Kathy Wellman of Varney; eight brothers, Curtis (Charla) Hinkle, Troy Hinkle, Russell (Elaine) Hinkle of Michigan, Bill (Bridgette) Hinkle, Bruce Hinkle, and Terry Hinkle all of Taylorville, Thurman (Wil-ma) Hinkle of Wharncliffe, and Keith Hinkle of Mt Olive, WV, a special nephew, Little John, and too many more beloved nieces and nephews to name as well as a huge host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m. April 7, 2009, at the Chafin Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Justice-Hinkle Ceme-tery at Taylorville, WV.

Visitation will be at the Funeral Home Chapel Monday evening from 6-9 p.m. with special services starting at 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be his beloved nephews, Michael, Dale, John, Gary, and Gary Ray Jr., Brian and Allen Hinkle, and Brian Wellman.
