Carl Robinett, 58, of Stopover, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at his residence.

He was born June 9, 1950, at Stopover, KY the son of the late Hollie and Mary Hurley Robinett.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Hollie Robinett.

He was self-employed and a deacon in the First Baptist Church at Phelps, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor “Ruth” Jackson Robinett of Stop-over, KY, three sons, Dwayne (Libby) Robinett of Paw Paw, KY, Dwight (Amanda) Robinett of Paw Paw, KY, and Timothy (Andrea) Robinett of Feds Creek, KY; two sisters, Mable Swisher of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Joyce (Jack) Edmond of Columbus, OH, three grandsons, Tyler, Joseph, and Hayden Robinett, two step-grandsons Brian and Nathan Lowman, one step-granddaughter, Haley Ramey.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at noon at the R.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home with services conducted by Rev. Bruce Hawkins and Deacon Bill Minckley. Burial will follow in the Jackson Family Cemetery at Paw Paw, KY.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of the R.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home at Phelps, KY.
