Ray Coleman, 69, of McVeigh, Ky., passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at his residence.
He was born October 7, 1943, in Pike County, Ky., the son of the late Weldon Garfield and Perlina Gannon Coleman.
He was also preceded in death by sisters, Cora Lee Coleman, Dorothy Moon, Phyllis Scarberry, Ruthie May and Loretta May; and brother, James A. May.
He was a retired janitor from the Pike County Board of Education.
Survivors include his granddaughter, Natasha Nicole Royal Flores of McVeigh, Ky.; brother, Johnny (Wanda) Coleman of Elkhorn City, Ky.; and a half-brother, Bob May of Huddy, Ky.; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 21, at 2 p.m. at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Earl White officiating. Burial will follow in the Runyon Family Cemetery, Pinsonfork, Ky., with Delmer Francis, Kenny Allen, Hank Allen, Daniel Allen, Pete Allen and Carlos Flores serving as pallbearers. Visitation from 11 a.m. until the funeral service.
