Ruthie Mae Collier

Ruthie Mae Collier, 72, of North Matewan, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 3, 2013, from the Williamson Memorial Hospital.
Born January 20, 1941, at Delbarton, she was the daughter of the late John and Ellen White Maynard.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her lifelong companion, Eddie Brinager; one daughter, Marquita Brinager; one grandson, Joshua Blue Mayhorn; son-in-law, Alex “Poochie” Bucci; and one sister, Barbara Sue Baisden.
Survivors include four daughters, Cheryl (Tony) Carrico of McCarr, Ky., Tammy Bucci (D.J.) Williams of Chattaroy, Donna (Clyde) Dingess of Slaters Branch, Ky., and Vanessa (Blue) Mayhorn of Verdunville; one son, Jeremy (Heather) Brinager of Belfry, Ky.; five sisters, four brothers, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 6, at 1 p.m. from the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, Ky., with Pastor Bobby Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens at Maher with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
